During training and when pulling IQoro, do not pull harder than you can press your lips together throughout the training.
When you pull hard enough, you will feel a slight tension in your tongue. However, if the muscles in your mouth are very weakened, it may take some training before you feel that tension.
At the beginning of the training, it’s always a good idea to focus on getting the technique right, rather than focusing on how hard you’re pulling.
How do I know if I’m pulling too hard?
- If you focus more on holding back with your neck than with your lips, you’re probably pulling too hard.
- Some people who pull too hard on their IQoro complain of neck pain.
- If you feel that you can’t keep your lips closed around IQoro, you are also pulling too hard.
- A fourth sign that you are pulling too hard is that the shape of your lips changes during training.
The key thing about IQoro training is to activate the muscles and nerves in the lips and mouth. Do not resist with your neck, instead focus on resisting with your lip muscles.
Is it dangerous to pull too hard?
The main thing is that it is not effective to pull too hard. If you pull using your neck muscles more than with your lips, the wrong muscle groups will be worked and you may not see the effect of your training as quickly.
