No, an oral screen does not deliver the same results as training with IQoro.
If you train with an oral screen, you should not expect the same results as when training with IQoro. There is simply no research that shows that oral screens have the same positive impact and effect as IQoro.
The name “IQoro” did not appear in early research on IQoro. Instead, the term “oral screen” was used. Unfortunately, this means that many people today confuse IQoro with oral screens, which is another type of product.
An oral screen is a suitable training device if only the lip muscles are to be strengthened. Oral screens are sometimes also used to wean children off dummies.
IQoro is a neuromuscular training method that activates 148 muscles. Its design, size and manufacturing material all differ from those of an oral screen. IQoro is CE-marked (approved by the Swedish Medical Products Agency), patented, and has a manual available in several languages (Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Danish, German and English). Research on IQoro has been conducted in collaboration with Swedish university hospitals.
When recommending IQoro training, the decisions we make are based solely on clinical experience and scientific results.
On our website you will find brief descriptions of both completed and ongoing studies.
